This challenge we have a visiting librarian , Julie P , and she's chosen The Worst Class Trip Ever by Dave Barry.  This is a fun, modern, chapter book about American eighth -graders ( I think year 7-8 in UK) on a school trip to Washington. What a great cover!

Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone is the first book in JK Rowling's magical series about a schoolboy wizard. (In the US this book was published as Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone.)
