This challenge we have a Visiting Librarian, Arlene (aka A.Rose) , and she has chosen Forty Whacks by David Kent.. In this 1992 true crime book , Kent describes 'new evidence' in the 1890s murder of Sarah and Andrew Borden, for which his daughter was tried and acquitted. You may have heard of the case through the nursery rhyme, 'Lizzie Borden took an axe and gave her mother forty whacks, and when she saw what she had done, she gave her father forty-one.'
