This time we have All Creatures Great and Small  by James Herriot - the memoirs of a Yorkshire country vet.  This is an omnibus of his original books and was a very successful 80s British TV series - so well-remembered that the Yorkshire tourist board use the term 'Herriot Country'.

    Great book for your challenge, Marina! This PBS show was the start of our decades-long love affair with all British TV programs! I hated when it ended! Hugs, Darnell
