IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT FOR LIBRARY USERS

The librarian has decided to take a sabbatical and, as the sole employee of The Library, that means we'll have to close our doors for a while. Hopefully, The Library will reopen later in the year with lots of great new books and a refreshed crafting mojo!

This time we have perhaps the best-loved children's classic of all time : Alice's Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carrol. Perhaps you'll be inspired by cats, playing cards, hearts or rabbits (white or not), tea parties, royalty or Alice herself...or something else? 

This is a book that has inspired The Librarian many times over the years and here are some of her favourite 'Alice' creations:

This time, we're in the younger children's section of The Library with a picture storybook- Big Red Bath by Julia Jarman and Adrian Reynolds. In this story, the children's toy animals come to life and jump into the bath with them.

This time, our book is a  2018  thriller, Jar of Hearts by Jennifer Hillier. Described as 'gritty, suspenseful and utterly unforgettable' , it's the story of three best friends: one who was murdered, one who went to prison, and one who's been searching for the truth for years . 

Maybe you'll be inspired by the hearts in the title or the  falling petals on the cover or something else..? (Probably not the murder, but you never know...)
