This challenge we have a Visiting Librarian Lynne  who has brought along The Woman in the Window by AJ Finn - a contemporary suspense thriller, fresh from the bestseller list.

The Woman in the Window is about an agoraphobic who spends her time watching her neighbours through the lens of a camera, until she sees something she wasn't supposed to see....Some ideas might be the colours from the cover, cameras, the brickwork and ,of course, women and windows!

Here's how the librarians interpreted the challenge:

I hope you'll visit Lynne's  blog to find out more.

Please do check the schedule in the side-bar. Challenge 16 (Oscar)  will remain open for another week and I'll be back on October 13th with my 'Librarian's Choice' - projects which caught my eye.

I hope you will join The Library.

Librarian's Choice - Challenge 15 - Winnie the Pooh

Our Visiting Librarian for Challenge 15, Gina , has now returned to her own bookshelves but before she left we picked out some of the wonderful entries to showcase in The Library.

Jane Willis  gave her bear an improvised Winnie the Pooh look and added lots of honey:

Heather's  simple design is buzzing with cuteness:

This lovely card by Auroracrafts  is classic Pooh:

I hope you will copy the badge (above) to your blogs.

The current challenge - Oscar- is still open for another week and also I'll be back tomorrow with challenge 17 - a gripping thriller, fresh off the bestseller list.

It's just a reminder to join in the current challenge - 'Oscar '  - which runs till October 7th.

The extra card above just uses the 'music' theme of the book. More details on my blog.

This challenge we have a Visiting Librarian Stef who has brought along a book she has found inspirational : Oscar by Mauricio Segura.

Oscar is a novel 'inspired by the life of legendary jazz pianist Oscar Peterson' - the 'maharajah of the keyboard' . So you could be inspired to create a project with the theme of music, jazz, instruments or even the Hollywood 'Oscar' ...perhaps you have other ideas?

Here's how the librarians interpreted the challenge:

Librarian's Choice - Challenge 14 - I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings

What amazing creativity we saw in the entries for this challenge! Here are just a few that caught my eye:

Jeanne J's card was almost a remake of the book cover. Look how she made the sun!

Joanne T twisted the colours and bird theme into a Halloween creation.

Scrap & C's card had a bird, music and an inspirational sentiment.

I hope you will copy the badge (above) to your blogs.

The current challenge - Winnie the Pooh - is still open for another week and also I'll be back tomorrow with challenge 16 - a book based on the life of a musical 'maharajah'.

Maybe you'll be inspired by the cover colour scheme; by bears, honey and bees; by Pooh's friends- a tiger, a piglet and a donkey .....

Librarian's Choice - Challenge 13 - The Jungle Book

Thank you for all the wonderful entries into this challenge. After much agonising, here is the Librarian's Choice:

Betty's card is bright and fun and features the so-called 'king of the jungle' :

Joanna M  loves the elephants in the Jungle Book film and she made a cute and pretty card:

Jane Willis's 'Shere Khan' tiger card is big, bold and quite scary:
I hope you will copy the badge (above) to your blogs.

The current challenge - I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings - is still open for another week and also I'll be back tomorrow with challenge 15 - featuring a character who lives under the name of Sanders.
