This challenge we have a Visitng Librarian, Deb aka DJ , and she's chosen Where the Red Fern Grows by Wilson Rawls. This is a 1961 children's book about a boy who buys and trains two hunting dogs.

    Marina, I cannot tell you how much I loved this book … I had two very dear friends called Ann & Dan, too!
    Just a perfect choice - and I hope every one of your players read the book!!

    I read this book recently. I'm not much for hunting but I can see the appeal "back in the day." Hoping to play along again now that the holiday rush is over.
